ROAD SAFETY

Road Safety

Parents are asked to remind their children not to walk, cycle or run onto the road, without looking both ways and ensuring that it is safe to cross.  Teaching children not to move onto the road from in between parked cars will also support the safety of our children and community. Please also provide frequent reminders to your children regarding correct bicycle and pedestrian procedures. In addition to cyclists wearing helmets, it is also important that students wear a helmet when riding a scooter or skateboard in the community. Please remember that children under the age of 10 years of age do not have sufficient maturity to ride bicycles on public roads.
