Welcome to Gwynne Park Primary

Gwynne Park Primary has been a valued part of the Armadale community since 1979. We are located in  the established suburb of Brookdale, close to parks, fields and the Darling Ranges. Our school grounds  are welcoming and feature mature trees and a diverse range of outdoor spaces for students to play and   learn in. Our strength as a school begins with our people – staff, students, families and partners.

Gwynne Park Primary is at the heart of our community, ‘Working Together’ with students, families and communities is at the core of everything we do. We have a sincere commitment to the belief that ‘our kids can’ – academically, socially, emotionally and physically – and we are proud to go the extra mile to support this ethos.

Our success as a school is grounded in profound care for our students and excellence in teaching and learning. Our learning programs are truly ‘whole-school’ with teachers differentiating the curriculum to support individual students’ needs and learning styles. Student are exposed to a broad range of subjects and opportunities including the Arts, Robotics and Coding, Physical Education and Mindfulness. To support these opportunities, we have well established partnerships with community groups, network schools and community agencies.

We are a Mindfulness School and practice mindful strategies in the classroom, the playground and at school assemblies. We offer Music, Science, Physical Education, Science, Digital Technologies and Indonesian as specialist subjects. The explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy is a well-established focus at Gwynne Park Primary.

We have a welcoming and committed P & C and we encourage families to be actively involved in school life at Gwynne Park Primary.

We look forward to sharing more about our journey with you.

Sincerely,

Julie Bolingbroke
